Summary-This mix goes from Electro house to Speed Garage about halfway through. There is quite a few tracks on here that are old and some new stuff. Most of these songs were featured in commercials around July of 2008. I actually remember sitting around on a Sunday watching tv and I heard 7 of the songs on television commercials. In and Out was the first track I heard from Eric and I think he has a style that is a bit ahead of the times. I hope the audience can catch up to him. Bombfunk MC’s “Uprocking Beats” track has been around for a long time however, I never really heard it on any dj’s mixes before so I thought it was necessary to get it on one. I did have to edit the track itself to make it longer just so there was room to mix in and out of it. The transition from “The World is Watching Me” to the “50 cent remix” was done using a filter. I like how it melts from one track to the other. From “Free” to “Superstylin” I really like how the ambient intro was mixed the entire time and yet it managed to fall right on beat. This was excercised using really well phrasing. “The Great Below” is a song that I have always liked a lot and just felt like it belonged at the end. Hope you enjoy this mix as much as I enjoyed making it.
